You are invited to the Opening Reception for “Alonzo Adams: These Eyes Have Seen” on Thursday, September 26th, 4:30-7:30 at the Stedman Gallery, Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts. Join us for food, wine, and live music from the Camden-based Daniel Spearman Trio as we celebrate the opening of this impactful exhibition. This event is free and open to the public. 

Picturing Community: Alonzo Adams and Mercy Romero in Conversation

Join us on Thursday, October 10th, 5:00-6:00PM for “Picturing Community: Alonzo Adams and Mercy Romero in Conversation.” This interdisciplinary conversation considers how we engage with, represent, and share stories from various communities. Mercy Romero is author of the award-winning book “Toward Camden” (Duke University Press, 2021), which centers on the largely African American and Puerto Rican Cramer Hill neighborhood in Camden, NJ. 

This event is a collaboration between Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts, and MARCH, The Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities. This event is free and open to the public.
